House Memory

When I was one I heard the news that I was going to have a sister and I was pretty put off. Now, since she was the newborn she would get all of the attention. When everybody was always around her I would think what happened to me? Hello, I still am the first child, and deserve all of the attention. At about three years old I figured out the solution. Whenever my Greek family members came over they would always dance to Greek music. Everybody would sit on the couch and watch whoever was dancing. Some would join the dancing circle, and enjoy themselves. Then a light went off in my head. If everyone is watching then this is my time to earn the attention of everybody watching. I joined in the circle, and that made everybody start laughing. I did not know what I was doing, so I just copied the movements of the dancers to the best of my ability. Soon everyone was seated and watching me dance the night away. Everyone was clapping and I danced even more. I was getting compliments left and right about how good of a dancer I was. Now I was aware that when ever the family came over I knew how to get the spotlight. All of the attention was mine, and all I had to do was start dancing.
